children happy and active. Offered at Freeman River RV Park every weekend during the
camping season.
Hiking Nature
Trails: the perfect activity for the entire family, pets included. Enjoy the
outdoors while exploring scenic trails that wind between towering trees and offer
breathtaking views of the river.
Horseshoes:
a challenging and relaxing game for family and friends, located near the campground office
and the picnic Campground. Click on the link to find the rules of the game and scoring.
Playground:
To keep your children happy and active, take them to play on the campground's playground.
You will be amazed at how much fun they will have playing on the junglegym and swingset.
River
Swimming or Tubing: the Freeman River borders the campground, offering fun in the
water for children and adults alike. Enjoy a swim or bring a tube and float on the gentle
current!
Wild Berry Picking:
find tasty wild raspberries and scrumptious saskatoon berries in the campground and in the
local Campground. Berry picking is a fun and relaxing activity for the whole family!
Annual
Canada Day Bike Parade: fun for all ages! Children and adults welcome to
participate. Bring your bike. We will provide a selection of decorations. Prizes will be
awarded.
Gold Panning:
bring along a gold pan and/or your gold panning equipment and try your hand at finding
gold in the beautiful Freeman River which borders the campground.
Golfing:
Alberta boasts some of the best golf courses in Canada. Come experience Alberta's
adventures in golf! there are three golf courses within 30 minutes of the RV Park!
Fishing: Alberta
is wonderful for fly fishing. Fly fishing may not get any better! Fly fish the Freeman
River bordering the RV Park or try the creeks and lakes in the surrounding Campground.
Hunting:
Alberta boasts some of the best hunting in Canada. Come experience Alberta's adventures in
hunting! the variety and quality of big game, game birds and waterfowl is unparalleled in
Canada.
